There Are So Many Undecided Things In My Life

"well, is there a yes between the wows?"

I have always been a big fan of gilmore girls. Been watching it since highschool. I have managed to buy the DVD for season 7. Planning on buying season 6 next month after salary.hehe.

I think Lauren Graham (Lorelai) and Alexis Bledel (Rory) are a good mother-daughter combination. I adore Rory so much. She's like what i had always dreamed to be when i was little. The dialogue above is taken from one scene when Rory's boyfriend, Logan, a rich spoilt boy who recently got a real job in IT world proposing to her. Rory has just graduated from Yale and is starting her job as a journalist for Barrack Obama tour.

Well, in ideal situation, there's nothing wrong to get married young. Logan's a rich guy, and Rory has just graduated from Yale. But unfortunately for them, Rory has to say no. To say no for her moving to San Francisco (which is far away from Stars Hollow). To say no to be getting married without really be prepared to be a wife. To say no for her not having a stable job when marrying Logan. I think Rory has made a pretty brilliant decision. Marriage is not just about love.

"I love you Logan, yes I really do..."

"but?"

"but there are so many undecided things in my life.."

This is also a reminder to me not to rush things in life...I am only 24. I have so many things that i need to achieve in life..

When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going!

When i was a final year student, i wondered everyday: what will happen after everything has ended? To be honest i never like my thesis year. I am NOT an outdoor person. And my thesis required me to go outdoor testing repellent on mosquitoes. But Alhamdullillah, i had a very supportive supervisor and colleagues to hold me all the way.

I thought my thesis writing year was the toughest but obviously i was wrong. Working life is not exciting at all. It requires you to be independent, extremely tough inside and outside. Especially when you're working in a high performance team where all the bosses have high expectations on you. My first month of working was filled with tears but as time goes by, i'm getting used to whatever i'm going through right now. Time allows you to learn. Time teaches you to be strong.

I love to read the story of Adolf Hitler. Most people call him the father of Satan. He was the one responsible for the World War II. He killed 11 million innocent people. But let's not take that as a good example. He always had a passion for art. He failed twice when taking art examinations at an art school in Vienna. When everyone didn't think he ever had talent in art, he himself believed that he could do anything he wanted to do. After the school rejected and barred him from taking any examinations for the second time, he lived life a hard way. By selling postcards with his own drawings and sketchings, he managed to live. Life was even harder when his mother, Klara had passed away due to cancer.

Well, that was just one of the chapters in his life. When i have time, i'll share more.=)

What i'm trying to say in today's post is that at any circumstances...in any days of the year..you can't run away from obstacles. Different people are granted with their own experiences in life. Endure, learn and just live with it.

This is also a note to myself. Allah knows what is best for each of His slaves.
